Well I have two jobs, but it's still not enough apparently. So now I'm looking for a third.

Even though the whole point of working as much as I can in the summer was so I didn't have to work during the school year, but that's down the crapper too because I have no money to pay for my second semester.

The cinema this week isn't even MAKING a schedule, because Harry Potter is premiering and it's mandatory that we all sign up for at least three shifts.

My mom says that I'm not working enough and that if I really had any balls, I would have had my driver's license and a part time job and a full time job.

But alas, I was not born a man, so I have no balls.

This led to my mom getting angry at both me and my sister (who wasn't even there). Then having words with my dad and then because anger is a transference, he went to bed. Then he got up came into my room and proceeded to yell at me.

Praise Jesus that I have to work tonight (and sat, sun, mon, tues, thurs) so that I can be here as little as possible.

The Orange Man's Got Me

I have to work so much this week. I work Wed-Sat at my second job and Sun at the Cinema, except it's an opening shift and the closing shift for my other job is 2am. Hopefully they don't keep me until close just yet. PS - I have no idea how to open up the cinema, so that should be great fun.

And although I love my dog unconditionally, I'm about to pop a cap in his furry little ass. Seriously, he does not want to sleep at night. He whines and whines and whines until he hyperventilates and I let him out of my room. Then he sleeps all day because he's a pant load. He used to wake me up between 6am and 6:30am every morning to let him outside. Now it's getting closer to 5:30am. Then he used to wake me up at 11:30am to let him out again, now it's more like 10. Seriously, I've never been more pissed off at something that can't talk in my life.

Oh, I did get to watch NCIS, and I think I have next Tuesday off too to watch the finally (this is one of the only times you'll see this --> SQUEE)

And I fixed my sims, which is boss.

And I finished reading 'Mother Night' which was awesome, I loved the ending.

Now I'm on to the third True Blood book and then to 'Pride, Prejudice and Zombies.'

And please pray that I get let off work by 8. Because it would make me so happy and I could watch my shows!

Damn the Man

So I worked 4 days in a row. And made some sweet moola. But my feet are totally killing me, as I have absolutely no arches. The amount of arches I have on my feet are almost negative. I also always get headaches now.

My other job ~~AKA not the theater~~ I've only done two days. I answer phones and take delivery orders and money. Except it's hot and I always forget to bring water, so I end up with a 'no-water' migraine.

Other than that it's awesome, everyone is great, it's a pretty small place, there's less than 20 people.

I finally got my sims working again, because it was being a little ho-bag and lagging so I scanned and sorted and scanned until I could do no more, and I didn't have one lag today, so yay!

I bought my mom headphones for tomorrow. It's what she wanted, so hopefully she likes them. And my sister is leaving tomorrow, which is sad because she's been here for like a week and a half and we've only had one little altercation.

Oh, I also got to work the opening day of Star Trek. Like the Harry Potter movies, the Simpson movie and countless others, I'm always on the opening day first shift. I like it though, I yelled at some nerds. It was beautiful.

I'm so excited about not working tomorrow to spend it with my family and watch the finale of Brothers and Sisters untainted. It better be on tomorrow, or I'm gonna have to smack a bitch.

Now if they could only not schedule me for Tuesday. I can deal with not seeing the CSI:NY finale live, but I do not want to miss NCIS. It's not even the finale, it's the pre finale show, so if I miss it, I'll never understand anything. I suppose I could watch it on the internet, but that would take up some of my precious and endangered not working time.

I also seem to read a lot lately. I finished 'Slaughterhouse-Five' by Kurt Vonnegut and started on another book by him, 'Mother Night'. They're all second World War based, but only like 20% non-fiction. I suggest reading his stuff, he's an amazingly weird writer. My favorite by him is 'Cat's Cradle.'

I'm super tired, but I don't know when I'll get a chance to write again, so I might stay up for another hour or so. Or head-desk myself trying.

I'm done 2nd year. Lowest mark of the year C+ highest a B+. I like to be consistent.

Two jobs, both involve me making pizza, yet neither has taught me how to do it yet, it's an unsolved mystery.

My writing was in a book for the first time (so it was our classes book, a book nonetheless), I also gave my first reading.

Shows I currently watch (because my taste is always changing): Brothers and Sisters, NCIS, CSI: NY, The Office, Parks and Recreations, 30 Rock. Sometimes Lost and Scrubs if I remember it's on. Oh and Without a Trace if it keeps my interest.

I haven't written fanfiction in a while, but I think I'd like to start again.

I'm also working on two original pieces of fictions, one humorous and one sci-fi-y.

And I still play a lot of video games (but I'm trying to cut back on them because my time is precious).

I still have my dog Moe, who is turning 14 and my Betta Booradley. They're my boys.

Other than that, I think I'm the same. Hopefully I'll remember to write when I have more insightful things to say.

Noa is the second child born to Addy, and 6th to Generation 12 as a whole because of Alcide (Addy's brother) and his obsession with using the telescope. Her black hair comes from from her great great great great grandmother, way the hell down the line. And her eyes come from her grandma and mom. Even as a toddler Noa was obessed with those building blocks in the freetime table. And as a teen she's obsessed with the telescope (something she inherited from her uncle Alcide). Luckily as a teen she rolled the want to be an adventurer, which suits her personality perfectly. I belive she is also one of Addy's kids to get her nose. Booradley to everything that has to be completed within the next 3 weeks.

8 page research essays and 2nd mid terms and being published and doing my first reading. Somewhere between then I need to attend two readings of someone else. Like what they say, when it rains shit piles up and I want to hit someone in the face with a sledgehammer.

Oh and Boo has fin rot. The only cause I can think of is the filter. It said I wasn't supposed to change it until it started to break apart, and it hasn't, but maybe it's filthy. So I'm contemplating doing it now, or waiting until tomorrow. I'm probably going to do it now. Because...

I have to write 8 more pages to hand in on Thursday. And even though they liked my first piece. They hated my second. So now I have to find some no-man's-land in between of hatred and lust. Lustred.

Ziva is the first born daughter to Manhattan Walker, who is the 3rd born of Julian Walker, the only son of Becca Walker, the only daughter of Legacy starter, Kate Harper. Wow, this sounds like a bible excerpt. Her father is Bishop Harper who's dad is one of Kate's sons (Yay for inbreeding!!) Actually it was a remodeled version of Bishop that I toyed with in Body Shop. Now, Ziva was named after the character on the show NCIS (Thanks to Pattie for directing me towards the show). In my game she's married, but I have a feeling that she could be fine being single (or a single mother like her mom and Aunt Tumbler). She has one little sister, who I do not play, because I wanted the 5th Generation to focus mainly on her and her second cousin (?). In my game she is the proud mother to a teenage son (Oded), teenage twin girls (Abra and Evangeline) and precautious toddler (Cory). The family also have a slew of dogs (4 to be exact) who rampage around the tiny house like they own the place.

Just an update, nothing big really.

So far I'm enjoying most of my classes. I really like my Topics in Lit. class, it's different every semester and the 'topic' in this one is Utopian and Dystopian ~~which is not recognized by spell check as a word~~. I've already plowed through three books (Utopia, We and 1984 which EVERYONE MUST BUY) and I'm on the fourth out of fifth, Cat's Cradle, which is even more interesting. The fifth is a play by our writer in residence (each year a new Canadian writer makes their home of Windsor for one year and guest speaks or even will look over your work and tell you what's good and what's bad). The only bad thing is instead of having a midterm for the class, we have 4 quizzes spread out worth 10% each, the first one being Tuesday. Since I had the Prof. last term for Canadian Lit. I know what to expect and it's going to be hard. But on Thursday the Prof told us to just name as many Dystopian movies as we could and someone yelled out "Bride Wars" I laughed so hard.

German is so much funner (I don't even care if it's improper grammar). There's only 8 of us in the class, and we do group work and it's always the smart guys versus me and my friends and we all suck. I had my first test in it Thursday, I hope I did well.

I took my first Philosophy class this term and I was literally shitting a brick over what I might have to write (I'm superior at writing literary critical analysis papers but any other essay and I might as well just bend over now) But I only have two midterms and a final in that class which is awesome. Plus the teacher is hilarious. He makes the class worth taking. He dances when people's cell phones ring with a special song, and he does voices one of which scared the shit out of me. It reminded me of grade 5 when my teacher Mr. Archibald read us The Hobbit and did the voice of the dragon in the gym through a microphone.

I have a Family Forms class which is the hardest one out of them all. It's at 10am which means I need to get up at 9am, which means I'm tired as hell. It's also just intensive writing of overheads and an eight page research paper due in March. Which I'm not looking forward too and I'll probably bomb.

My creative writing class is easier now too. I get to write what I want and I know that it'll get evaluated every week. Last time I handed in the beginnings of The Restaurant in novel form and no one said anything too heartbreaking except one guy but he hates everything and we all hate him so it's fine. I'm working on introducing the remaining characters in this week and if it's funny enough I'll put it up.

In other news, I have to walk all the way across campus to buy a 649 ticket because my mom thinks that I alone will win the 43 Million that's up on Saturday. Plus I have tickets I won on at Christmas.

Other than that my Friday will be spent on reading the remaining articles that I know are on that quiz, and hopefully making a huge chunk into Cat's Cradle.

Tomorrow I'm doing my last one page summery which isn't do until two weeks from now but I like to get shit out of the way as early as I can to stay on top of stuff.

Finally I want to try to get through a season of NewsRadio today to hopefully make it through the entire series by Monday. I still think it's one of, if not the best series ever created. I still laugh at all the jokes and I've been watching it for almost ten years now. And it along with Empire Records is one of the two biggest influences on my restaurant project. So it's only fair that I pimp the two out.

Well, I went home.

Christmas is over, which is good, because I hate Christmas with a low fire that burns in my loins all year round and starts to inflame my pelvis around December. It's so damn contrived. I mean it's all about the gifts now, so I was really happy when I found out that we were having what my mom called, "A humble Christmas". I honestly couldn't think of anything I wanted. I'm at the point in my life where if I save up my money long enough I can basically afford what I want.

Oh I pierced my ears myself.

And on the 23rd I threw up 9 times because I got a migraine, I also threw up the week before and full expect to throw up sometime soon. I honestly think I have some sort of disease that makes me vomity and tired. I honestly think it's Wilson's Disease mostly because I've kinda convinced myself that I have a Kayser-Fleisher ring.

I also wrote about 2 pages of my original story, which was nice. Nothing like retreating into The Restaurant to make my problems go away.

I also thought that going home would cure me of the blahs I've been feeling lately, but of course, it just made me worse. I found out that my dad spent the vacation money he had put away to take my mom away on their 28th anniversary on my tuition, because we just don't have enough money and OSAP likes to fuck me sideways since Sister decided she should get it too. So now she gets the big ass money and I get half of what I got which in total over the year doesn't come close to covering 1 semester.

Now I'm going to sleep, because yippee (<-- Sarcasm) my creative writing class is moved to Mondays instead of Wednesdays so I no longer get a 4-day weekend.

Wonderfalls (Again)

I know I said this before about a year ago, but the Tyler family is so ridiculously like my family I can't ignore it.

The mom is my mom with a little less spunk than my mom.

The oldest sister is the effigy of my sister, "I LOVE WINNING AT GAME NIGHT!" And the way Jaye and Aaron always pick on her. If I had an older brother, you know he would totally be on my side and like that.

And I'm so much like Jaye. And realizing this because I have a D+ in Creative Writing. Yeah think about it, I handed in everything on time, but I never participate. So if they didn't like un-participating Shiggity before, they're sure as hell going to loathe increased sarcasm/pessimistic hate-for-life Shiggity. I can't wait now.

We Start Here...At Goofy Clown Face

So really weird things have been happening lately. Like really weird. As I've probably said before, like in a post last year around this time of year, I get insomnia from November to February. Usually it's so-so, but this year it's wicked bad. I just can't sleep. Since Thursday I've had about 5 hours of sleep. Not a night, like all together. And I know some people must be like "I call bullshit" but I've basically been doing nothing but lying down since Thursday so I just kinda lie there like a comatose patient.

I think it was Saturday that I just was not tired, and finally I decided to lie down at 4:30am. At 5:30am ~~I was not asleep yet~~ the fire alarm rang and we had to clear out into the frosty Canadian winter. Now Windsor being one of, if not the Southern-est point of Canada (There are two reasons I don't want to double check this, 1) because I'm barely functioning right now, and there's probably going to be millions of typos in this message 2) Because as you may already be aware, I have a very irrational fear of pictures from space and devolving from that, pictures of the Earth from space and devolving from that, realistic maps of the Earth and devolving from that just plan maps) I digress, Windsor never gets a lot of snow for Canada, it's really weird but of course all Saturday we had an impromptu snowstorm so that Sunday morning I could stand outside for 1/2 an hour not once, but twice. Yes the alarm was pulled again at 6:30, and we didn't get back inside until 7:11 because I was so tired I laughed at the time.

Thursday night I also laughed at a repeat of Lost on the Space channel. I think it was the season 3 premiere where Jack is in that shark aquarium and he bangs into the glass. Well I knew he was going to bang into the glass and I let out the most hillbilly-ish laugh I've ever heard BEFORE he banged into the glass wall because I knew what was going to happen.

And I do get to work over my Christmas Break, because it wouldn't be Christmas if I wasn't having fun. What? My sister? No she's still in school, her seventh year, and has never had a full time job. OH and last year I was the only one who worked. And when my mom promised to take me to New York, she canceled so we could send Sister to Greece. I will admit I tried to convince my mom to cancel her traveler's Visa so she could stay in Greece forever. The key point here is I go home the 23rd for Christmas, and probably start working the 27th learning all the new stuff because they tore down the sweet old theater. Then I go back to school on the 4th and do it all over again. Except this summer I'm expected to write like 30 pages for my Creative Writing portfolio (I don't know whether or not I'm returning to Windsor. I know I'm SURE as hell NOT living in residence again. I got fucked over by, who? You guessed it! Sister!) and I'm expected to have a full time job or two part time jobs, because we have no money, because some relative of the female gender who has the same parent as I do used it all. By being in school 4 extra years.

Right now my schedule isn't too bad. I have my German presentation about 89% memorized, I present tomorrow at 4pm so everyone wish me luck. I also have an oral interview which I've mentioned a trillion times. I also have an essay due the 18th that I haven't started and I get too more essays on the 11th due the 22nd. And I have a German test the 21st on like everything. So poop sandwiches all around I suppose.

The only thing that did not disappoint me this week (other than 30 Rock, "I want to go to there" my possibly be the best line ever written) was Brothers and Sisters. For me that show is kinda like getting pierced. You do it and it hurts. And you do it again and it hurts and rinse and repeat. But then it gets to the point where finally you have a good one that doesn't hurt.

I laughed really hard this week at what Justin said. It's probably because I'm high on fatigue and the doobies people smoke outside my window. But I didn't understand this weeks Justin/Rebecca fight. Did they resolve it? And shouldn't have that waiting room scene with the chips come after their walk? I think it was a continuity error and if not, why does Rebecca always have to walk the Justin? They should take turns.

Okay and I did manage to sleep for 2 hours this morning and I had the most effed up dream ever, but at the same time it was kinda nice. All I remember is my dad and my mom and I were at this amusement park and it was really creepy, like the carousel was inside a worn-down warehouse. It was really little-kid orientated and reminded me a lot of the Nikolodeon place in Wonderland in Toronto. Anyways, I was sitting at one of like 7 deserted picnic tables drinking a milkshake or something and my mom and dad were out playing with these two little kids. I think they were both girls. One had brown hair and the other had red I think and they were only about 5. I kept wondering why my parents would bring me to a place that was for kids 2-10 and why they were playing on the playground (one those bouncy horse things that wobble back and forth) with these little girls I didn't know. I had an epiphany in the dream (which was only knowledgable to dream Shiggity, as in I didn't get the full jist of it) but in hindsight I realized these were my sister's girls. Which makes sense because she's been too busy for family these days so my mom and dad probably brought them to the park for her.

And then I had an even bigger epiphany which both dream Shiggity and dreaming Shiggity got. I had a daughter. And she wasn't with us. Immediately I got up, threw down my milkshake and yelled at my dad, because like in real life I would never yell at my mom. Then I ran into a warehouse that was a few yards away (the setting looked strangely like Wonderland's kiddy pool area yet strangely devoid of water) and there was an operating carousel full with people on it. And I screamed out my daughter's name, which was "Maps" (before you think I'm completely psychologically fucked, Maps is the main character in the story I'm currently working on) and everyone and the Carnie carousel operator with his trucker hate and cigarette looked at me like I was crazy and I thought (in the dream) "They think I'm crazy because I named my daughter Maps. Or because I just burst in screaming a random noun." Then I ran out and over a smaller version of the bridge that links main Wonderland with kiddie Wonderland and walking on the otherside was my daughter. She was so freaking cute. She had platnium blonde hair and was wearing one of those scrunchy-materialed blue tops with white shorts and blue sandels. She was three years old and I picked her up (leaning over a railed seperation) and asked her where she was going. Haha, she was soooo cute. I think she may have had my eyes, which is good because I do not have platnium blonde hair. Her dad must be Swedish, which makes me want to go to Sweden even more.

Well I'm off to either read an essay by T.S. Elliot or by Julia Kristeva. Because I have to oppose them in my final Contemporary Literary Theory essay. I like to think of it in the terms of Wrestlemania and I'm the announcer and the house lights go down and I get that wacky microphone that comes down from the ceiling and I get to call their names and say "Milwaukee, Are you ready to rumble?!" And to have a shower, hopefully which is not interrupted by the fucking fire alarm.

I remember watching this last year on the Top Twenty Christmas Songs of All Time. I think it was 17. It scared the shit out of me then and it scares the shit out of me now.

He looks like a Ken doll that was aborted midway down the assembly line. And the way he stutters reminds me that one day the Terminator will meet the Matrix and all of us are fucked from then on.

Well all classes are officially over except for Canadian Literature because apparently my Professor feels the need to carry on the classes until the 11th and then give us like 4 days to write two essays. It's a rumored two essays. I swear if it's two or more I will just go on a dance off rampage. I'm so TIRED of essays. I handed in two more this week and already have another one. How is that possible? They reproduce faster than bunnies. Than rats which only have a gestation period of 6 weeks. And they're not even on fun subjects! Things I will never need to speak of again. Like Puss in Boots, or comparing Susanna Moodie to a red squirrel.

I also have a one on one interview with my Creative Writing teacher, which everyone is not looking forward too. I'm not looking forward to the 'gala' at the end of the year where I have to give a reading. Booradley to that and anything in close relation with it. Also afterwards we're going out drinking, because that's what we do in Canada during final exams after being drilled by the teacher about how your future as a writer is equal to the detritus left on the rim of a toilet bowl. We drink. I however took a vote of sobriety, pretty much because I never drank before, so we'll see how Shiggs will get around the threating and inveigling of her Creative Wrting Prof. Oh and of course C.W is a two term course, so the hell is only half over. I also have to write a critical analysis piece on a writer, of a reading I went too. I kinda only went to the ones in my Candian Literature class. I'm so far from caring if they counted or not.

I also have a shitload of German to memorize. Like 5 chapters worth plus I have an oral exam on Tuesday of 15 massive and manditorily memorized. So my plans for tomorrow are:
- Write one page analysis for Wednesday
- Start to memorize shit
- Reread two essays that my final Contemperary Literary Theory essay is based on.

Ahhh, it's going to be a fun day.

PS - I don't get home for Christmas break until the 23rd. Hopefully I work from the 27th to the 4th and then I'm back at Uni again. While my sister does nothing.

Brothers and Sisters was very predictable, -Called the whole Tommy not keen on the Rebecca executive idea. To be honest neither am I really.
- Called something happening with the house.
- Called Kitty and Robert getting the surgeon baby. A good part of me also wants to say they won't get this baby in the end.
- I totally knew what Justin's present was, because I would have done the same thing.BTW anyone think he should get a job soon?
- And from the moment Holly promoted Rebecca, I knew Saul was going to be called in for Holly demolishment. Which of course is going to be the downfall of the Justin/Rebecca relationship. I have another idea too that is probably plausable, but I ain't saying it until I get to meet Ryan (which as you remember Kevin said was the most popular gay name).

Oh and an acutal What did Justin say to Rebecca that got her so T.O'ed? I was kinda, sorta, maybe asleep a little...

MST3K The Movie! And Awww.

So the best movie of all time was on tonight and quick thinking me I taped it. Not burned it with a DVD player ma-bob, but taped it old school style on VHS. Still the funniest thing I have ever seen in my entire life.

And I couldn't find Boo in his tank and I started to get a little scared (usually when you can't find them it's because they're floating at the top. But then I look down at the rocks (he has stones instead of gravel) and I guess I made a little cave out of them and he pokes his head out like he's got a brand new clubhouse.

I swear in another life he was a green beret. He's always stalking from the fronds of the plant or stalking from the rocks, but he makes it so inconspicuous and then when I catch him he gets sad puppy eyes. Yes my fish can have puppy eyes.

Anyway, he's cute and I love him a lot.

PS yesterday I was in some kind of sleepless stupor (as you may remember I get hit hard by insomnia from November to February) and I actually managed to finish BOTH my essays. Granted neither of them have conclusions and they still need a good once over, but they're done!!! JOY!

Baylin was named after the character on Flash Gordon, and up until that point, I always thought that Baylin was a guys name. But I guess it's unisex now.

Answer: I'm going to hit one off the other until all of this shit work goes away.

Right now I'm averaging a page a day of essay, and that's only if I don't skip a day.
